Fatherly Advice
What did Stephon Marbury say to Randy Moss?
Steph caught up with Randy Moss 3 days before Moss was moved to New England. Think that had anything to do with Randy saying Tom Brady is the quarterback he most wanted to play with? Naaahh..

Tuning Out T.O.
Randy Moss and Terrell Owens on the same team? That does sound like Al Davis.
That said, you know one of those teams interested has to be the Raiders. A combo of Owens and Randy Moss may be so potentially exciting yet combustable, it may get Al Davis to shift in his chair during a game.

Unrestrained Evil In San Francisco
I just keep my mouth shut.
We all know that San Francisco has a slightly more relaxed view of morality than a lot of other places. But here’s an astonishing fact that is mentioned in a SFGate article on why the Bay Area isn’t concerned about new Oakland Raider wide receiver Randy Moss’s admission that he occasionally smokes marijuana.

Who wants TO?
Is this what the Raiders are up to?
I am not a big fan of T.O., unless of course he is on the field, but it is easy to see why the idea of pairing Randy Moss with Terrel Owens would intrigue the Raiders. Putting the two best recievers in the NFL (apologies to Marvin Harrison fans) on the same team would entice any team not run by the Pope. For Al Davis, the personalities involved won’t even cross his mind. If possible, the talent involved would just be too much for Davis to resist. As a fan of the Chiefs, one of my first thoughts was that if the trade is pulled off, there is no way KC could cover those guys.

Raiders' Top Pick Knows Pressure
Good new hires at the Raider club house.
Where some sense fear, cornerback Fabian Washington finds excitement. Staring down a talented wide receiver such as Randy Moss isn’t scary, it’s a challenge.

Weakness in Minnesota
Click through for the whole analysis of Minnesota's draft.
The Randy Moss era is over in Minnesota, and I'm in the camp that thinks it was about time. But it did leave the Vikings weak in the area of the team traditionally a strength - receiver. That was on everyone's mind going into the NFL draft yesterday.

Thoughts on Randy Moss
Click through for commentary:
The NFL offseason is a rough time for SC's Kevin Holtsberry. To ease the pain, he offers some thoughts on Randy Moss, Plaxico Burress, and last year's fine crop of wide receivers (with some Michigan Wolverine nostalgia thrown in for free).
