Retiring Moments

sports nfl brett favre The end of Brett Favre's great career.
So now Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre says his emotions got the best of him and he never really wanted to be traded from the Packers anyways, and it was just his competitive nature coming out. All this was brought about by the New England Patriots acquisition of Oakland Raiders wide receiver and NFL “problem child” Randy Moss on draft day. Favre said the deal was a steal and the fact that the Packers did not go after him, showed they weren’t really serious about contending while he is still at the reins on the field.

Sucky Pucky

sports nhl player NFL and other sports are topping NHL ratings.
Today I want to talk NHL. Hockey has become a “fringe” sport. Don’t fight me on this hockey fans, but you are a distant fifth behind NFL, MLB, NBA and NASCAR. Oh and watch out for the ever increasing in popularity “Westminster Dog Show” which is right on your tail (pun intended).

Cuban Crisis

sports basketball mark cuban What is it about Mark Cuban?
I have struggled for a long time with this question: Is Mark Cuban a genius businessman, in the vein of so many self-made billionaires, or is he the luckiest damned geek who ever lived? Is he just the computer nerd his hairstyle and twisted logic suggest? Is he crazy? Is he crazy like a fox?
