Great Teams
"Dynasty" is a big word in sports speak.
Another thing that comes in to play is that sports fans and media people are reluctant to label a team as “great” until they have success over a number of years. People were hesitant to use the “dynasty” label with the Patriots until they won their third Super Bowl in four years. People were hesitant to call the Shaq-Kobe Lakers “great” until they three-peated.
