Spring Break On Hiatus For Important Stuff: Baseball
Why does this blogger always catch Derek Jeter getting dumped? Gamma rays?
So why am I always turning on the television set and watching Derek Jeter getting dumped in the dirt? Why? There's absolutely no explanation for it, no logic to it, and certainly no excuse. Joe Torre has one of the hardest throwing (not to mention most intimidating) pitchers in the history of the game in Randy Johnson on his staff now. Any ball whizzing within feet of Derek Jeter's helmet -- let alone hitting him in the head -- should be grounds for sending David Ortiz or Manny Ramirez to the dirt as well.
