Draft 2005: Dallas Cowboys
It is kind of a surprising pick:
With the eleventh pick overall the Dallas Cowboys select DE DeMarcus Ware from the Troy State University. I am suprised by this pick. Not a knock on Ware who is a fantastic player. But at 251 pounds, he is somewhat light for a 3-4 defensive end. I love the player though and feel that he will motor through it with desire until he gains the weight to match. I would have loved to see Derrick Johnson - that ‘catalytic playmaker’ that Parcells said he was seeking. Or what about big Shawn Marriman from Maryland? Well, the Cowboys had...
